There's no mistaking that Heavy Hitz is a fan cake, thanks to the big luminous tubes that protrude several inches out of the top! 25 shot fans normally have to run the gauntlet of short duration, so Heavy Hitz tries to lengthen proceedings by firing the first three banks "Z" fashion, that is from side to side. It works well and the first bank produces bright stars which break loudly to multicolour bursts. Next up, a bank of blue stars with a really pretty dual effect of glitter too. Next comes a bank of coloured, crackling crossettes. The last two banks add a good finale boost by firing each set of five effects simultaneously. First, more crackling crossettes, then the last bank is a good but slightly different crackling effect. What is good about this cake is the top quality pace, with Z-firing banks changing to full fans and this is without doubt the best way to deliver 25 shots to push the duration up.
