British musical fireworks champions goes to Phoenix Fireworks

The British musical fireworks championships held at Kings Gardens, Southport on 5th - 7th October 2007 were won by Phoenix Fireworks.

The contestants were drawn from over 20 British fireworks companies and the finalists at Southport were six well known firework display companies.

The championships are held over three days, with two displays each evening lasting sixteen to eighteen minutes in duration, fired to a musical theme

Each competitor selected a musical programme, which was played at the venue with fireworks synchronised to enhance the emotional experience.

The Rythm of Fire

The show we performed to win in Southport, is now available as an entertainment called “The Rhythm of Fire”. 

It is a world class fireworks show that is synchronised to 6 different pieces of popular music and lasts 17 minutes.  The finale is truly memorable, as one of the judges from the championship said, “I cried with emotion”.  A truly inspiring pyro-musical event!
