Phoenix has an excellent safety record with no significant claim in their entire trading history. This enviable reputation is gained by close attention to detail and clear assessments of all risk. Phoenix produce Risk Assessments for each site and work closely with the authorities as required. At all times the priority is to pre-empt and minimise risk. Phoenix provide training courses for Firework Event Safety to Local and Borough Councils to assist them to make best use of a Risk Assessment for fireworks events Phoenix are partners and UK consultants to Groupe F fireworks displays. In this role Phoenix produce risk assessments for very large public displays attracting anything up to 200,000 spectators. The higher profile workload has included very detailed Risk Analysis and Assessment for the Special Olympics display held at Croke Park Stadium, Dublin. |
Phoenix have been assigned
by Groupe F as UK advisors and partners in the massive St. Patrick's Day
festivities in Dublin. This involved working with the Senior Government Minister in the Department of Justice, Law and Equality. A role that Phoenix carried out to the full satisfaction of the Irish Government. As well as the risk and safety consultancy, Phoenix provided a full working team of operators. Phoenix has just undergone a full safety audit where the working practices, management structure, staff training and other risk related activities have all been closely scrutinised. This was passed with credit. It is testament to the thorough approach that Phoenix has to their public and staff alike that no changes in working practice were required to maintain the highest levels of safety.

Phoenix provide a due diligence service by measuring sound levels of
their displays to ensure they stay within public safety guidelines. Wind speeds are measured during a display if the risk assessment calls
for any wind speed mitigation safety issues to be addressed. Phoenix Fireworks is insured to £5M on public liability and products
liability. With employers liability of £10M. Firework secure storage is licensed to give Phoenix the capability to store over 50 Tonnes Gross across eight explosive stores with the following grades of storage licence: Division E, MSER, Mode A and HSE. For explosives transport, ADR rules are followed, and IMDG rules are followed on ferries. Drivers are ADR certified for explosives transport.
